A used fishing boat can vary in size and condition depending on the age and prior use of the boat. Generally, most used fishing boats come with rods, reels, tackle, outriggers, motors, live-bait wells or tanks, and a variety of other features that make for an enjoyable day out on the water. The boat may have a flat bottom or be V-shaped to better handle choppy waters. It could also feature a cabin to provide shelter when the weather turns sour. Many older fishing boats may have an open bow or stern platform which is great for casting lines off the back of the boat. These boats are usually made from fiberglass or aluminum making them both durable and lightweight.
